Industrial wastewater pollution control and standards management effects analysis of the proposed project

Absrtact
This project analyzed the regulated items, including 10 samples of dioxin and 10 ammonia-nitrogen-containing wastewater samples of processes of high nitrogen connection in the petrochemical industries and the chemical engineering industries, in the Effluent Standards to evaluate the compliance of industries. The results showed that the dioxin concentration of industrial effluent was ND~4.15 pg-I-TEQ/L, and the ammonia-nitrogen concentration in the effluent of the petrochemical industries and chemical engineering industries was 0.08~25.0 mg/L, which all complied with the Effluent Standards. We not only investigated the nitrogenous substance discharge (16 samples) and improvement measures of new regulated industries but also evaluated the ammonia-nitrogen reduction of two dedicated sewage systems in industrial and science parks and its impacts on receiving waters. The ammonia-nitrogen concentration in the effluent of new regulated industries was 0.65~113 mg/L. Besides, we examined the concentration of beryllium, thallium and epichlorohydrin in industrial effluent, and the results showed that beryllium and thallium were not detected in 13 samples and the epichlorohydrin concentration was ND~0.0113mg/L in 6 samples. We also summarized that the mercury contents within the coals from coal-fired power plants in the first half of 108 was 0.031 to 0.048 mg/kg dry basis, which complied with relevant regulations. This project summarized the current status of car wash and foreign management and drafted relevant control strategy based on the investigation of the characteristic of 12 car wash wastewater samples. We also analyzed the nitrogen concentration of meat markets and other industries (24 samples), and drafted the proposed suggestion for the Effluent Standards. Moreover, this project renewed the strategy for acute toxicity regulations in the Water Pollution Control Measures and Test Reporting Management Regulations based on the investigation of acute toxicity on daphnia, Pseudorasbora parva, and luminescent bacteria for 12 industrial effluent samples. We also concluded both domestic and foreign POPs management and the industrial usage in Taiwan, investigated PFOS and PFOA concentration of industrial wastewater, and drafted suggestion to the relevant control strategy. The results presented that the PFOS and PFOA concentration in 23 industrial wastewater samples was ND and 4.20~795 ng/L, respectively. In the end, we have analyzed 25 samples of specific regulated items in the Effluent Standards to evaluate the compliance of industries.
